Morgan Named VP and CFO of Acme Brick
Paul Morgan has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer, to replace the recently retired Judy Hunter.
Paul Morgan has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Acme Brick Co., to replace the recently retired Judy Hunter. In his new position, Morgan will be responsible for the finance, tax, accounting, credit, payroll, payables, planning/budgeting, and the administrative services functions for the Fort Worth general office.
“Paul has done an outstanding job during his nearly two decade career with Acme and I expect nothing less from him in his new role,” said Dennis Knautz, president and CEO. “He certainly knows our organization, our associates, our systems, and our checks and balances, and will be able to lead our staff of managers and associates that regularly perform at a high level.”
Morgan earned his certified public accountant license in 1980 from Abilene Christian University and joined Acme in 1997 as controller. Morgan serves as a board member and treasurer for the Alzheimer’s Association, north central Texas chapter.
