Swindell Dressler recently announced it has completed the commissioning of a new sanitaryware shuttle kiln. The kiln reportedly offers high efficiency combined with optimal temperature uniformity. Verified fuel consumption is 2800 BTU/lbs of ware; temperature uniformity over the ware space is better than +/- 5°C. This system was completely commissioned in seven days from dryout to acceptable product, and uses the DynaPulse firing system.
