Kyocera Corp. recently announced that Goro Yamaguchi, former director and managing executive officer, has become president, representative director and executive officer. He succeeds Tetsuo Kuba, who assumes responsibilities as chairman of the board and representative director.
Since joining Kyoto Ceramic Co. Ltd. (now Kyocera Corp.) in 1978, Yamaguchi has been involved in the sales of semiconductor components. After becoming general manager of the Corporate Semiconductor Components Group and joining Kyocera’s board of directors in 2009, he helped to enhance performance and develop new business in the division.
“Yamaguchi has shown strong leadership in management, and his many years of experience building trust with customers is promising for developing new products and technologies from a customer’s standpoint to further expand our business,” said Kuba.
