Freeman-McFarlin Pottery: 1951-1980 is reportedly the first book devoted entirely to the animal sculptures and decorative items produced by Freeman-McFarlin Pottery, a California company from 1951 to 1980. The book contains more than 480 photos and vintage catalog pages, interviews with former employees, and a price guide. It also includes the story of the overlapping histories of other California potteries owned by Gerald McFarlin prior to his partnership with Maynard Anthony Freeman, including Tudor Pottery, Rio Hondo, and McFarlin Potteries.
