One of the things I love best about my job is having the opportunity to learn about other people, how they handle their businesses and-ultimately-how they succeed. One such story is that of Cary and Elaine Hulin, owners of Holmes County Pottery. The couple operates their pottery near Big Prairie, Ohio (which, incidentally, is a stone’s throw from where my dad grew up; many members of my family still live in that area), creating hand-thrown and wood-fired stoneware.
Eric Nedreberg shares their story with us in the March 2009 issue of Pottery Production Practices. Read more in From the Heart of Ohio.
